Vladimir Malakhov
Wieslaw began his career dancing for the National Theatre in Warsaw, Poland. He soon became a soloist and Principal Dancer at the Lodz Great Theatre. In 2000, Wieslaw moved to Germany and joined the Stuttgart Ballett, where he danced for three years, after which he departed for the prestigious Staatsballett Berlin, as a soloist.
Today, Wieslaw Dudek is one of the Stars and Principal Dancers of the Staatsballett Berlin.
Bojana Nenadovič Otrin of Slovene National Theatre Opera
Bojana Nenadovič Otrin acquired her professional training in ballet from the Ballet Academy in Cologne and the Heinz Bosl Stiftung Ballett Academy in Munich.
Bojana is a member of the soloist ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballett Ljubljana, where she danced the following soloist parts: Odette and Odilia in Swan Lake, the role of Dulcinea in Don Quixote, the role of Juliette in Romeo and Juliette, and much more.
Her successful career in dance landed her in many ballet companies throughout Germany, France, and Eastern Europe.
She has been a member of the German Opera on the Rhine (Deutsche Oper am Rhein Dusseldorf/Duisburg, State Theatre on the Gartnerlpatz, National Ballet of Marseille, Hamburg Ballett, German State Theatre Unter den Linden in Berlin, and the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.
Gabor Kapin of Carolina Ballet
Gabor Kapin came to the Carolina Ballet from Budapest, Hungary where he was a student at the Hungarian Dance Academy for nine years. While at the Hungarian Dance Academy, Mr. Kapin danced the pas de deux in Flames of Paris and Giselle, performed in Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and lastly, Coppelia at the Hungarian National Ballet.
In 1998, Mr. Kapin reached the finals of the Nureyev Competition, held in Hungary. In 2008 Mr. Kapin joined the Carolina Ballet and is one of the Principal Dancers at the company.
Erica Cornejo of Boston Ballet
Erica Cornejo trained at the Arts Institute of the Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires. At age 14, she won a gold medal at the Second International Ballet Competition in Argentina, and was immediately invited to join Julio Bocca's Ballet Argentino.
Erica joined American Ballet Theatre's Studio Company in 1998 and would later that same year, became a member of ABT's corps de ballet, and was subsequently promoted to soloist in 2002. She has created leading roles in Within You, Without You: A Tribute to George Harrison and Lar Lubovitch's "... Smile with my Heart."
Her diverse repertoire with the Boston Ballet includes Nissinen's Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, Cranko's Romeo and Juliet, Nureyev's Don Quixote, Bournonville's La Sylphide, Gielgud's Giselle, Caniparoli's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion, Balanchine's Emeralds, Tharp's In the Upper Room, and Kylian's Sechs Tanze.
She has been performed with Corella Ballet in Spain and has been honoured as a Messenger of Peace by Unesco, and has also received a medal of honour from the United States chapter of Institute Belgraniano as one of Argentina's leading dancers. In 2009, Erica was featured on the cover of Pointe Magazine. Erica is happily married to Boston Ballet's Principal Dancer Carlos Molina, and is the sister of ABT's Principal Dancer Herman Cornejo.
